One of the WSWCA’s most vital and most popular initiatives is our Sidewalk Cleaning.

Each year we solicit grants and donations to pay for cleaning of sidewalks and gutters in our Wash West neighborhood.

We contract with third parties for this service, and most of the streets in the neighborhood are covered by this initiative.

CLEANUP DAYS

The WSWCA will occasionally arrange for neighborhood cleanup days, which have included paper-shredding, broom loans, street sweeping, and corner trash pickup. These efforts are complex and require a great deal of neighborhood participation for success.
