This committee strives to improve the safety and well-being of the neighborhood through collaboration and communications with our District 6 Police and the neighbors. Some initiatives include attending and reporting out on the monthly Police safety meetings and coordinating neighborhood interest in a local Town Watch training.

Fun Fact:
The name “Washington Square West” came into official use in the late 1950s and early 1960s as part of Edmund Bacon‘s comprehensive plan for Center City.
