WSWCA FIRST ANNUAL BICYCLE DAY

Here at the Washington Square West Civic Association, we are working to engage with our community in a variety of ways. This month, we decided to engage with cyclists. Wash West is very lucky to have 4 bike lanes passing through the neighborhood. We want to highlight and celebrate cycling and cycling safety for everyone- not just cyclists.

The event will be taking place at Kahn Park, at the corner of 11th and Pine Streets, from 1pm to 4pm.

Bike Fair (Meet and learn about these cycling organizations)
Indego Bikes
National Youth Bikes Council
Philly Critical Mass Bike Ride
Agile Rascal Bicycle Touring Theater
Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia
Bike Wash
Bike Decorating
Kids’ Bike Parade Starting at 3:30pm

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR THE BICYCLE EVENT

We are looking for help from the community at this event.

We need help with:

The bike decorating table.
Bike wash monitoring.
Bike parade attendees! We need some folks to cheer on these kids!
Bike parade safety people- to help block traffic and be sure the kids stay safe.
