900 Walnut (corner of 9th and Locust) 3rd and Final Presentation

Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) is proposing a new building at 900 Walnut St – the Caroline Kimmel Biomedical Research Building. The proposed is an 11-story building having approximately 900% FAR with no residential uses. TJU is seeking City Council legislation to remap the property to allow for the building and uses to CMX-5 which will then make the project “of right”. The legislation will be introduced by Councilmember Squilla.

This meeting will be the official community meeting regarding this project and the zoning committee will be taking a position on the project.
