Public Board Meeting Next Tuesday 3/8 at 7 pm

On the second Tuesday of the month, the Washington Square West Civic Association hosts

our monthly public Board Meeting on Zoom.

This month’s special guests:

Monthly District 6 Safety Meeting on 3/8 at 6 PM

If you are concerned about safety in the neighborhood, this is the meeting for you. The monthly police meeting is the meeting is where you can find out what’s actually happening and not just rumors assumed from “Citizen’s” app. If you wonder why somethings are being dealt with, or not being dealt with, this is the meeting to learn why.

MEETING LOCATION

These meetings will be an online event hosted via Zoom Conferencing. You do not need a Zoom account but you will need to download and install the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device to join the event. Please email us at info@washwestcivic.org in advance if you need assistance installing the Zoom app. If you cannot join the event using your computer or mobile device and the Zoom app, you can join the event via teleconference and hear the audio portion.

WSWCA is hosting our first plant exchange

Get your clippings started and gather your gardening supplies that no longer fit your needs. The Civic is organizing an event at Kahn Park on Saturday March 12 from 10 am to 2 pm. Come meet some WSWCA Board members, and other plant & gardening loving neighbors. Walk away with a new plant friend, seeds, supplies and/or awareness of other resources to expand your interests in plants.

Start organizing your block! Philly Spring Clean Up is coming.

Mark your calendars for April 2 and start coordinating your block. Philadelphia Streets Department is hosting it’s 15th annual spring cleanup on April 2nd. Join your neighbors in helping get our community looking its best. Stay tuned for more information – or to register your block click here for the online application. Deadline for registration is 3/18.
