Join the City Wide clean day effort this Saturday

29 MARCH 2022

WSWCA’s weekly electronic newsletter

Join your neighbors in a City Wide clean up day this SATURDAY, April 2 9AM-2PM

We had two neighborhood projects officially registered for the event. Below is map of the official pick up locations. Please do not sit trash out at random locations. It will not be picked up and will become a nuisance.

Register for one of the events here. Or just clean up your area and drop the bags at the official pick up locations.

Interested in learning more about historic preservation for our ‘hood?

Check out the Civic’s website to read the 2011 submission, and watch various conversations the Civic has hosted on the initiative. Find the video from March 14 on our Facebook page – until we get it posted on the website.

Have you tried the Philly 311 app?

It’s so easy to report graffiti, overflowing trash cans, potholes and more using the City’s free 311 app. No need to sit on the phone waiting. Snap a pic, add a note and upload with address. Visit the App Store and Google Play to download the app. The City has stepped up their response times and it’s a game changer! Help keep our community clean by reporting issues.

Happy Spring! We look forward to seeing you

at an upcoming event & around the neighborhood.
