Discussion on the historical merit of 704-708 Sansom which have been nominated to receive historic designation from the Philadelphia Historical Commission.  Washington Square West Civic Association will send a representative to the designation hearing scheduled for October 21. The zoning committee meeting will serve as a forum to discuss the historic merit of the buildings and determine if the civic association is in support of the buildings receiving historic designation.  Toll Brothers will not be presenting their proposed development at this meeting as the designation of the building is a separate issue from approval of the proposed Toll Brothers project.
Due to the importance of this project, we will also have an additional discussion with community comment at our board meeting on October 18.
