This will be an informal discussion about the reported Toll Bothers project in Jeweler’s Row.  The purpose of the meeting will be to better understand the project and understand the concerns of the community. Representatives from The Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia will be in attendance.

Some Additional Information about Tuesday’s WSWCA zoning committee discussion of the proposed Toll Brothers project in Jeweler’s Row:

The meeting is NOT the official meeting for the Civic Design Review as has been incorrectly reported in a flyer which is being distributed to the neighborhood.

The Washington Square West Civic Association will NOT be taking an official position on whether or not we object to the project as a result of the meeting. However, we will take a position prior to The Civic Design Review.

The propose of the meeting is to hear from neighbors about their concerns, discuss the process moving forward and discuss what actions are available to the civic association for an of right project requiring Civic Design Review.

Due to the flyer which inaccurately portrayed tomorrow’s meeting as pertaining to the CDR, Toll Brothers will not be in attendance as they are not in a position to make a full presentation of the proposed design.
